Cabo Sportfishing report for the week of 11-17 July 2011 from Picantesportfishing

Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Cabo Sportfishing report for the week of 11-17 July 2011 from Picantesportfishing <http://www.picantesportfishing.com>.

As we settle into the summer weather the fishing is still hanging in there. Most days have been under mostly blue skies with some clouds. It has been pretty calm in the mornings and later in the afternoon the day breeze picks up a little.

Marlin fishing has slowed down a bit with one in three boats bringing the Striped Marlin to the boats for a release. And we are now starting to see more Dorado. While the marlin fishing has slowed down the tuna fishing is still doing well.

For the week the boats have been averaging almost 3 Yellowfin Tuna per boat. And the Roosterfishing is still good. There have been numerous reports of Roosterfish over 50 pounds being caught in the Los Cabos area.

Now,we as we approach the hurricane season the weather is getting hot and humid. This week we are watching the development of Tropical Storm Dora as she builds up steam and heads north toward the Baja Peninsula. Tune in next week to see how the weather affects the weeks fishing.
