Striped Marlin Bite Still Going Strong in Cabo!

The Striped Marlin bite is still on big time here in Cabo. It looks like
Cabo fishing is coming back with vengeance. The winds out of the North
West are bringing in cooler water and the bait fish that associate with
those temperatures. That makes buffet time for the Striped Marlin. This
weeks numbers are much higher than last weeks especially with more
charters going out.

November 9th started the week off with a bang. Four boats our and 15
Striped Marlin to the boats. One was only a half day trip. Aboard the
35' Cabo Express, Salsa, John Henigin from Fishtalk Radio and a couple
of his friends joined Team Picante for a great day on the water. They
released 4 Striped Marlin and brought 4 Dorado to the boat. Visit

The total for the day was 15 Striped Marlin and 14 Dorado.

The 10th was another bonus day for the folks on the 45' Cabo Express,
Picante 45. They released 9 Striped Marlin. They were some happy fishermen.

The Picante Dream had a bonus day also with 4 Striped Marlin, 5 Dorado
and 6, yes 6 Roosterfish.The days catch was 25 Striped Marlin, 1
Sailfish, 5 Dorado, 1 Yellowfin Tuna and 6 Roosterfish.

The 11th was another big day with 39 Striped Marlin, 22 Dorado, 14
Yellowfin Tuna and a Wahoo.

Next was the 12th with 16 Striped Marlin, 3 Dorado and 1 Wahoo with four
boats going out. The boat of the day was the Picante 29, 29' Blackfin.
Their day was filled with 7 Striped Marlin, 2 Dorado and a Wahoo.

The 13th proved to be another real lucky day. 14 Striped Marlin and 2
Dorado. Boat of the day was the Picante 29 again with 6 Striped Marlin
and a dorado.

The 14th was a Dorado day with 17 Dorado brought to boat along with 1
Wahoo and 5 Striped Marlin were released.

What a week! Here are the weeks totals: 114 Striped Marlin, 1 Sailfish,
63 Dorado, 15 Yellowfin Tuna, 3 Wahoo and 6 Roosterfish.
